Background
Intelsat had developed a custom fault management system using Gensym’s G2. They wanted an expert audit to determine ways they could improve their system.
Business Problem
Intelsat wanted to improve their fault management. There were concerns in particular about performance and maintainability.
Solution
Several short consulting engagements, lasting about 2 weeks onsite and a week time offsite, with a final report and recommendations.
Results
A large number of the recommendations were taken, leading to improved performance and better maintainability.
